General Inquiries

Asanja offers luxurious safaris in two prime locations within Tanzania:

  1. Central Serengeti  and Grumeti, The Western corridor of the Serengeti National Park, known for the Great Migration.
  2. Ruaha National Park, one of the largest national parks in East Africa.

Serengeti National Park:
Asanja Moru, Central southern, (45 mins from Seronera airstrip)
Asanja Siri Bustani – Grumeti, Western Serengeti (35mins from Grumeti Airstrip)
Asanja Nyasirori – Grumeti, Western Serengeti (35 mins from Grumeti Airstrip)

Ruaha National Park:
Asanja Ndembo (1 hour away from Msembe Airstrip)

Both locations offer year-round safaris with unique experiences depending on the season.

The Serengeti is particularly known for the Great Migration, typically occurring from July to October. The calving season takes place from January to March, where you can witness around 500,000 calves being born and taking their first steps is another great phenomenon.

Wildlife & Sustainability

Ruaha National Park is wild, vast, remote and untouched by crowds. Here, 10% of the world’s lion population roams in unusually large prides. Wild dogs add to the thrill, alongside the large herds of elephants and buffaloes. Other animals seen are jackals, clans of hyenas, zebra, giraffe, and over 574 bird species, are recorded to date.
